What this preview represents

The 42 recessed panel tiles, fixed magnet mount and pieces use the project’s STL geometry. Routes come from its collision-aware Python planner. Rail profiles, motors, thin carrier boards, wiring, electronics, fascia and control details are illustrative envelopes.

Explosion separates inspection layers; it is not a service procedure. Field glow is a visual cue, not a magnetic simulation. Timing does not validate grip, coil-off release, temperature or sensor recovery. The electromagnet stays at a fixed height; only two stepper motors move it. Promotion changes software identity, without replacing the physical pawn.

Motion presets demonstrate the control sequence. They are not a live chess engine or a connection to board hardware. Manual arrangement moves pieces freely without legal-move checks.
